Compressed knitted wire mesh filters, washers, gaskets and seals utilize knitted wire mesh formed under pressure into resilient high density profiles.
Compressed knitted wire mesh filters/profiles are used as gland rings, grounding buttons, magnetron seals and numerous other applications where a high density mesh is required for effective EMI shielding.

With an all-metal construction, compressed knitted wire mesh filters/gaskets are also extremely good heat conductors and are resilient to high temperatures and shock absorption. This makes them suitable for use in severe environmental conditions. Custom conductive gaskets are not, however, recommended for use where joints are regularly opened or where an environmental seal is required.
