Decorative Mesh Ceiling With Architectural Expanded Metal With Two Style Holes
Architectural expanded metal sheet is made by first creating multiple slits in the sheet, and then stretching the sheet. The stretching creates a unique diamond pattern opening with one of the strands protruding at a slight angle. These raised strands can be flattened later in the process if desired. As you can see this process creates no waste (thus keeping down production costs) and it can add structural strength to the product.
Industrial applications of architetcural expanded metal include exhibition stands, window guards, cages, shelving and expanded metal flooring. In the automobile industry it is used as car grilles, radiator grilles and as filtration systems. Where security precautions are important, security lathing is another use for expanded metal, and in fencing applications, it is often used when erecting scaling barriers. Some domestic applications include indoor and outdoor furniture, ceiling tiles etc.
We commonly use our Architectural Expanded Mesh for the following applications:
Facades & Cladding
Soffits & Ceilings
Plant Room Screens
